YOUR TEAM Strong COACH

My bodybuilding journey began in 2002, after I started training with a female bodybuilder. Working with her was life changing! I became addicted to learning more about how to sculpt my body better. My mindset grew stronger the more I committed, and my confidence skyrocketed too! Eventually I started competing on stage and bringing home trophies. Today I get to lead others into taking life-changing steps, so they can go from 0 to 100. I feel blessed to teach what I love...including my secret hacks, my sculpting knowledge, and how people like you can get the most out of your training.

My Credentials:

  • I am a former IFBB Pro Bodybuilder, U.S. Military Veteran, Certified Personal Trainer, and have a B.S. in Nutrition and also in Community Health Education. I moved to New Zealand in 2020, and work as a worldwide online coach and Certified Personal Trainer inside Les Mills, Auckland City, NZ.

  • I laugh every day, humor is the spice of my life

  • I have a love/hate relationship with technology. It is not one of my biggest strengths, but I'm working on it!

  • I enjoy learning about other cultures, I watch a lot of foreign shows (I've gotten good at exercising my eyes reading subtitles), and traveling the world is one of the best things I have done for myself.

I overcame my fear

Don't Let Fear Stop You

I used to feel uncomfortable raining in the gym. But standing exposed on a stage and talking in front of a crowd terrified me. I was afraid that everyone was going to focus on my flaws & judge me. There was a lot to let go of there.

The more I invested in overcoming these fears, the easier it was for me to relax in uncomfortable situations. Gym training became my therapy and my meditation room. I interacted with different people to build my conversation skills. I learned to put myself in other peoples' shoes and it helped me to let go of my own insecurities and issues.

Key takeaway: You have to get out of your own way, then reprogram and build a better version of you.

  • Do not let your fear of anything stop you from pursuing your goals or missing opportunities.

  • Every accomplishment you make (no matter how big or small) is a win. It moves you forward.

  • It takes time and practice to purge your underserving thoughts. Get out of your own way, and you will make progress.
